The general objective of this project is to map out the impact and feasibility of adapted soil management practices, specifically mulching and reduced tillage, on water evaporation, infiltration, and retention, as an adaptation mechanism against extreme weather conditions within the Flemish agricultural context, in both conventional and organic cropping systems.
The target audience of this project is the arable farming and (coarse) vegetable sector, both organic and conventional.
