Project
Digestibility, nutritive value and intake by young cattle and beef cows of hay from extensively managed grassland were compared with hay from intensively managed grassland
Project
On most organic dairy farms (also farms with goats) the ration is based on grass-clover. There is a need for a better knowledge of its feeding value to better manage the quality of grass clover at one side and to incorporate it efficiently in the ration at the other.
Project
This project aims at the collection of economic data from the organic sector in Flanders.
Project
According to the organic dairy farmers the management and the diet composition on their farms differs that much from a conventional dairy farm that an exception to the currently applied standards of N and P excretion can be justified.
Project
The project aims at assisting farmers thinking about shifting to the organic cultivation method. An interesting outcome will be a survey of possible obstacles in the decission making process.
Project
Our world is constantly in motion. Through innovation, these challenges can become opportunities. But introducing a new product, process or other novelty is easier said as done. The necessary knowledge is available, but is often highly distributed, complex and not immediately applicable.
