Harvestis conducts research on strawberries and vegetables grown in greenhouses and in the open air in Hoogstraten and Sint-Katelijne-Waver. At its site in Sint-Katelijne-Waver, Harvestis has had an organic plot of just under one hectare with a polytunnel since 2020. Practical research is carried out here, focusing primarily on open-air vegetable cultivation. The research focuses on cultivation techniques and variety selection, the development of new crops, organic crop protection and sustainable soil management.
