The aim of our study is to create a better understanding of the population dynamics  of Thrips (Thysanoptera) in strawberry (Fragaria x ananassa Duchesne). Due to different monitoring techniques a better knowledge of thrips species in different strawberry cultivations will be gained. Further, our research will investigate the impact of a native flower strip and the soil/substrate on the population density of Thrips in strawberry.
